First Assessment 2011; Paper 2.
Question number: 2
Title: Describe the person you admire the most.
Choosing the person I admire the most is hard, considering I have a lot of people in my life, but I chose the one that means the world to me or was the first person to come into my mind. So, here I am, struggling to write out the words and hopefully make the best out of it.
He is a singer, song-writer and occasional actor. So far, he has three albums for the past thee and a half years and has a memoir at the age of nineteen. Through his songs and book, he has inspired fans world-wide and ordinary people. Even in the little corners of the world, you can find at least a fanatic of his work. He spends endless hours in a particular place trying his very best to write a song that reflects on the struggles he had faced, and basically all the bits of exciting moments he got to experience over the years. He was diagnosed with vocal paralysis at his pre-teenage time causing his singing dream to be on hold. Now, he has one of the best voices in the music industry and his vocal cords are starting to recover. The thing I like or admire about him so much is how genuine and humble he is despite the fact of all the craziness and hype going around in his life.
He wants his music to show he is and not be someone else. I love how different his music is and easy to understand the meaning behind it. Aside from his work, he likes to try new things, experience different cultures and spend time with his family. Getting to go back home once in a while is probably the greatest feeling he has ever felt other than singing. He believes that family is very important because they help you from the start and is going to continue supporting whatever you do.
Another thing I admire about him is how dedicated and supportive his fans are. Eventhough they are not over-fanatic, they always make sure that he is in a good condition; health, life and career-wise. Being able to meet all of these people from different parts of the world has brought immense amount of joy. Together, he taught us about the values in life and what is our purpose.
I absolutely appreciate what he is trying to do in life while he is still here and hopefully he makes a bigger impact than he already did. The person I am referring to throughout this essay is David Archuleta, in my point of view is the best of the best.
